Green Is Everywhere In Design And This Denver Lounge Shows Why
See how TRIO Design layers green paint colors and brick in a Denver lounge to create a studied but inviting look. A Denver-based TRIO Design has used varied emerald hues in its amenity lounge to create a welcoming yet invigorating atmosphere. The project, Sorella at Loretto Heights, is a multifamily community of 374 apartments spread over nearly six acres and completed in 2025. The design features several shades of green, creating depth and making spaces more authentic and lived in, according to Angela Harris, founder, principal, and CEO of TRIO Designs. The lounge's back-to-back fireplace serves both sides of the space, providing a studied but approachable feel. Other notable designers have included Benjamin Moore for its 2027 Color of the Year, Webster Green, Valspar for Warm Eucalyptus, Behr for Warm Gem, and HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams for Quietude.
