Vance Joseph Has Earned Another Head-Coaching Shot as Denver's Defense Carries Bo Nix
Vance Joseph heads back to Arizona with a Broncos defense that keeps winning ugly games while Bo Nix and the offense still search for answers. Vance Joseph, the Denver Broncos' defensive coordinator, is being considered for another head-coaching role following his successful four seasons as Arizona's defense. Despite a poor performance from Bo Nix, the Broncos are ranked 26th in scoring and are 4-2. Zach Allen, who played for Joseph in Arizona, has expressed his desire to stay with him for good. The Athletic's Jonathan Jones reported that Broncos sources believe Joseph has proven himself worthy of a second shot. The team's defense has allowed 18.8 points per game since a 31-10 loss in Kansas City, according to Jones. Jones also noted that Denver's offense has hit a low never before reached under Sean Payton.
