Highs will make it into the middle 90s, just shy of the record high of 97 degrees.

Skies will stay clear Wednesday night as the winds remain light. Overnight lows will be very warm, only dipping into the lower 60s.
Thursday will be another hot day with highs in the middle 90s and sunny skies.
Friday adds clouds back into the forecast with highs in the upper 80s. Strong storms will fire up in the early afternoon and slowly push into the plains. The northeastern corner of the state could see a better chance for hail, gusty winds and an isolated tornado.
Saturday has partly cloudy skies with warm highs back near 90 degrees.
Mostly sunny skies are back for Sunday as highs climb into the lower 90s.
Monday begins the next workweek with abundant sunshine and hot highs in the low 90s.
