Denver Nuggets Announce Injury Report for Season Opener vs. Oklahoma City Thunder
The Denver Nuggets have announced their injury report for their first game of the 2026-27 NBA season against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Denver Nuggets are set to open the 2026-27 NBA season on the road against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Spencer Jones is questionable due to a bilateral hamstring injury, and Julian Strawther is ruled out due to an injured left knee. Strawther will be re-evaluated in six weeks and could return in late November. This comes after a disappointing first-round exit in the 20 26 NBA playoffs. The Nuggets struggled to stay fit last season due to injuries to Nikola Jokic, Aaron Gordon, Christian Braun, Cameron Johnson, and every major role player outside of Jamal Murray who missed significant time due to injury. If they want to contend in a stacked Western Conference, Gordon will need to stay healthy throughout the season and postseason.
