A bear cub may have helped uncover human remains found Friday in the Colorado mountains west of Vail. A bear cub may have inadvertently uncovered human remains near Bocco Mountain in the Colorado mountains, west of Vail. The remains were discovered by a hunter near Bocaco Mountain, northwest of Wolcott. Avon Police Chief Greg Daly believes a bear cub in the area may have uncovered the remains, which are believed to be about a year old. Police are investigating whether the remains may be connected to a missing man who was seen less than a mile away last October. Colorado Parks and Wildlife were alerted to the bear's presence and it appeared to have moved away from the scene by Saturday morning.
