Future Broncos: Thoughts on Denver being trade deadline buyers
Should the Denver Broncos consider being major players prior to this year’s trade deadline? The article discusses potential trade deadline moves that have been suggested, including running back Jonathan Taylor and left guard Quenton Nelson. The Broncos could use a boost at the running back position due to J.K. Dobbins, Jonah Coleman, and RJ Harvey's injuries. However, some reports suggest the Colts are looking to recoup their first-round pick they gave up to the New York Jets to acquire cornerback Sauce Gardener. Taylor has a massive two-year contract that Denver would have to absorb. The article also mentions the potential interest of Detroit Lions tight end Sam LaPorta. However it is not clear whether the Lions are interested in trading him off.
