Karl Mecklenburg gives his take on the Broncos' 4-2 start
The Broncos have started the season with a 4-2 record, but it hasn't been pretty. Here's Karl Mecklenburg's take. Karl Mecklenburg, former player for the Denver Broncos, has commented on the team's 4-2 start to the season. He criticizes the team for making too many football 101 offensive mistakes in a recent game against the Seahawks, highlighting several instances where a Broncos wide receiver was coming in motion to block the end man on the line of scrimmage on what is called a crack block, which allows the running back to bounce outside of him. The Broncos had five sacks in the game, with the first two being completely unblocked by Seattle lineman looking around not blocking anyone. Meckhenburg believes that the team should continue to improve as the season progresses.
