The Nuggets can’t shoot their way back to the NBA Finals with a Broken Arrow. The Denver Nuggets are struggling, with Jamal Murray struggling to perform well in the upcoming season-opener against the Thunder, despite a strong performance from Murray. The last time Murray played in a game that counted was Game 6 of an ill-fated first-round loss to Minnesota in the NBA Playoffs, when he was shooting for the Blue Arrow and the Nuggets scored 98 points. Since October 2025, the Nuggets have won 9-11 games, regular-season and postseason when Murray scores 19 points or fewer, and 51-21 when he is at 20 points or more. The team is currently paying Murray $50.1 million (30.4% of their cap) this season and $53.8 million next year. However, the salary cap is also a concern as the Nuggets are tied to the salary limit of $50,1 million.
