An election next month will decide who fills the at-large seat previously held by Sarah Parady. Lawyers and real estate professionals have a clear favorite… Monica Martinez, executive director of nonprofit The Fax Partnership and former advisor to John Hickenlooper, is leading the pack for the vacant at-large seat on Denver City Council. As of Oct. 15, Martinez had raised $12,000 from lawyers and $10,500 from individuals working in real estate. This is the highest level of donations from both sectors.
